a vibrant beginning

Free Creative Co. is a new creative studio that was built to provide a dedicated space for people to express themselves without limitations. The founder, who has a passion for photography, wanted to reconnect with the essence of photography and create a similar space for the community. The studio is located in an old synagogue that required significant renovation. After hours of brainstorming, the name Free Creative Co. was chosen to encapsulate everything the space represents. The studio is now open and ready to provide a nurturing environment for creativity to flourish.

As a person with a passion for creativity, having a dedicated space to express oneself and create without any limitations is nothing short of a dream come true. After years of envisioning and hard work, Free Creative Co. is the manifestation of this dream. The journey leading up to the creation of this haven has been a rollercoaster ride filled with excitement, challenges, and triumphs.

It all began with a yearning to reconnect with the essence of what drew me to photography in the first place - the ability to express myself deeply. While building a commercial photography business was satisfying, I missed the freedom to use photography as a diary to express myself in an unrestricted manner. Renting a studio to pursue my creative endeavors reignited my passion, and I realized that I wanted to create a similar space for the Greeley community. This inspired us to brainstorm, research, and imagine what our brand and creative studio would look like. When we stumbled upon the old synagogue and Sunday school room that would later become our studio, we knew it was destiny.

Transforming an old building into a modern, blank canvas creative studio was not a simple task. We collaborated with a contractor to assist us in tearing down walls, ripping out outdated fixtures, and painting the room anew. Refining the brand was also a significant undertaking. After hours of brainstorming, we landed on the name Free Creative Co. to encapsulate everything we wanted the space to represent.

After completing construction, we added the final touches to the studio and welcomed our team and clients for the first photoshoot. The energy in the studio was palpable, and we were thrilled to witness our vision come to life. We are overjoyed to bring this labor of love to the community and create a nurturing environment where creativity can flourish.

Special shoutout to these people who helped us through construction and then some:
